This Walther P38 is a late-WWII production pistol, manufactured in 1945 at the Zella-Mehlis factory, marked with the "ac 45" code. It features a 5" barrel and original wood grips. The frame, slide, and front of the frame under the barrel all have matching serial number 6423, with tiny "359" inspector/lot marks stamped twice on the right side, consistent with wartime production practices. The pistol is in good condition for its age. Bluing has worn down in areas, and the wood grips show obvious wear consistent with age and use. It functions flawlessly - the action cycles smoothly, and the lock-up is tight.Included with the pistol are its original holster (has some wear) and two matching magazines, making this a complete, authentic collector set. All markings are original. This example represents a genuine, collector-grade late-war Walther P38.Make an offer.
