WALTHER PPK

Overview

This is an extremely rare very late WWII production Walther PPK chambered in the very desirable 22LR. At the time when the German war machine was struggling to keep pace with supplying the necessary war materials, the Walther factory produced approximately 1,000 of these very high quality PPKs in 22LR. These feature a high polish commercial blue finish with the very scarce black, wrap around checkered plastic grips. This PPK slide has the standard Walther two-line slide markings, that carry the correct, "Cal 22" designation, with the earlier style 60 degree safety. These are externally numbered like all late war PPKs, and has a matching slide and frame. Info from Rock Island auction. Please verify to your own liking.
