Overview
Introduced in 2011, the Walther PPQ (Polizei Pistole Quick Defense) is a striker-fired, polymer-framed pistol developed for law enforcement and civilian use. It evolved from the Walther P990 (P99QA) and 2008 P99 variants (RAD/P99Q), featuring the improved "Quick Defense" trigger, superior ergonomics, and forward slide serrations. The PPQ was designed in Germany, with popular iterations including the M2 button-release magazine variant.
