Overview
Built for anglers who want a loud, surface-level presentation, this bait pairs buzzbait turbulence with the kicking action of a soft toad to create heavy water disturbance. It comes pre-rigged with a 4" Zum Tip Toad and uses a keeled head shape and large buzz blade to help it get up and stay on plane quickly. The patent-pending TLAP Bait Gripper is designed to hold soft plastics securely, reducing the need for constant readjustment or adhesives. Offered in proven colors, it suits topwater fishing situations where a more aggressive strike-triggering profile is the goal.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- The pre-rigged 4" toad limits customization if you prefer to match a different soft-plastic profile or color.
- Its surface-disruption presentation is built for topwater use, so it is more specialized than a general-purpose lure.
- The large buzz blade and keeled head are designed to get it on plane quickly, but that also means the bait is tuned for a specific retrieve style and cadence.
- The TLAP Bait Gripper helps hold soft plastics in place, but the product still depends on the condition and fit of the included toad over time.
