Overview
Built for turkey hunting, this 20-gauge load is intended for hunters who want a 3-inch shell with 1 1/4 oz of No. 5 shot in the field. Winchester’s Shot-Lok Technology is included to support tighter patterns and longer shot capability than traditional loads, which may be useful when birds hang up at distance. With 10 rounds per box, it fits well as a dedicated option for spring setups or any hunt where a controlled, longer-range turkey load is the priority.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- This is a 20 gauge, 3" turkey load, so it is specific to hunters set up for that chambering and application rather than a general-purpose shell.
- The 1 1/4 oz payload and No. 5 shot are tuned for turkey hunting, which means this load is specialized rather than ideal for broader upland or mixed-game use.
- Muzzle velocity is listed at 1000 fps, so buyers should evaluate it as a purpose-built turkey option instead of assuming higher-speed performance.
- The box contains 10 rounds, which is practical for a season’s use but not a high-count range package.
Suggested Comparisons
