Winchester Model 94 Alberta Diamond Jubilee commemorative carbine in caliber 38-55. It was manufactured for the Canadian market in 1980. These were made to honor the 75th anniversary of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Chambered for the powerful .38-55 WCF, it wears a 20" barrel with blade front sight and open rear sight. The receiver and barrel bands are silver plated with the balance of the parts a polished blue. The receiver features elaborate floral scroll engraving with the right side marked "1905 - 1980" beneath a coat of arms, and the left side showing oil derricks and a flock of sheep with mountains in the background. The barrel is marked "Alberta Diamond Jubliee" in silver letters.. The walnut stocks feature cut checkering in a spade design (Winchester Style F) and the typical carbine style steel buttplate. Condition is excellent and the rifle is unfired, as new. There are no cracks, chips, dings or dents in the stocks. Box and paperwork included. According to the factory records, there were just 2700 of these rifle manufactured with the great majority being sold in Canada. They are uncommon in the United States. Serial number is ADJ353.
