Considerations & Trade-offs
- Capacity is optimized around 3700-size tackle boxes, so anglers using different box sizes may not get the same packing efficiency.
- The hinged lid and secure latching system add convenience, but they also introduce more moving parts than an open crate design.
- With six rod holders built in, the crate is well organized, but anglers carrying fewer rods may not need all of that dedicated space.
- The 16" x 16" format is a fixed footprint, so fit and deck layout should be checked against your kayak setup before purchase.
