Considerations & Trade-offs
- At 4 inches, this is a compact frog-style bait, so it may be better suited to situations where a smaller profile is preferred rather than larger presentations.
- The bait is sold in packs of 3, which may require more frequent restocking if you go through soft plastics quickly.
- Its action and hookup features are built around frog-style topwater use, so it is a more specialized choice than a general-purpose soft bait.
- The design includes dorsal ridges and a belly hook slot to help with hook clearance and hook sets, but those features also mean it is intended for specific rigging and presentation styles.
