Overview
Built for hunters who want a pot call that can work both close and at distance, this slate model is designed around realistic turkey vocalizations and controlled calling. Its hand-built, hand-tuned construction pairs an acrylic body with a Brazilian cherry pan, while the built-in sweet spot gives you a dedicated surface for softer, close-range work. A weatherproof design helps it hold up in changing conditions, and the integrated striker conditioner makes it easier to adjust your striker in the field. It also includes an easy-grip ring, a flared striker, a conditioning pad, and an instructional DVD for hunters who want a complete setup.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- The slate surface is tuned for true-to-life turkey sounds, so it is more specialized than a general-purpose call and may require some practice to use effectively.
- The built-in sweet spot is designed for soft, close-range calling, which makes it useful in tight setups but less focused on louder calling situations.
- The call includes an integrated striker conditioner and flared striker, but performance still depends on keeping the striker properly tuned in the field.
- It is a premium, hand-built call with a higher price point, so it may be more than needed for hunters looking for a simple backup option.
