Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 10.2 oz. canister is a carry item, so it adds bulk compared with smaller personal sprays and is best planned for dedicated bear-country use.
- The listed 9.2-second spray duration means deployment is finite, so placement and readiness matter when carrying it in the field.
- The 32' spray distance is useful for creating space, but it still requires proper handling and situational awareness rather than close-range reliance.
- The glow-in-the-dark safety feature and belt holster support quick access, but they also make this a specialized piece of gear rather than a general-purpose spray.
