Considerations & Trade-offs
- The Gear Pac adds useful value, but the included optic, four magazines, and pistol bag may be more than some buyers need if they already own compatible accessories.
- The 4.0FC uses a full-length grip with a compact slide, so it favors control and capacity over the smallest possible carry profile.
- The low, direct-mount optics setup is specific to the Variable Interface System, which is a benefit for integration but may be less flexible than a universal plate-based approach.
- As a configured package, it is priced as a complete setup rather than a bare pistol, so the upfront cost is higher than a stripped-down option.
