Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 23 dB noise reduction rating is useful for range use, but it does not eliminate the need to stay attentive to your surroundings.
- Electronic features such as hi-gain microphones, HD speakers, and sound-activated compression depend on battery power, so the muffs require 2 AAA batteries to operate.
- The Tacti-Grip silicone headband is designed for a secure, slip-free fit, which is helpful during movement but may feel different from a traditional headband style.
- The included ballistic glasses add value at the range, but they are a bonus item rather than a standalone eyewear product with detailed specifications here.
