Considerations & Trade-offs
- Battery life is limited to up to 6 hours per charge, so extended range days will require the charging case and planning around recharge time.
- The 24dB Noise Reduction Rating and sound-activated compression are designed to protect against gunshot noise while preserving safe sounds, but they are not a substitute for full isolation when maximum attenuation is needed.
- Bluetooth streaming and mobile calls add convenience, but they also introduce another battery-dependent feature set to manage in the field.
- The in-ear, compact design is built for portability and awareness, which may not suit users who prefer larger over-ear hearing protection or a more enclosed feel.
