Considerations & Trade-offs
- Second focal plane design means the 30/30 reticle stays fixed in size as magnification changes, so holdover references are not intended to scale with zoom.
- Parallax is set free at 100 yards, which is a practical fit for many hunting distances but may be less flexible for work outside that range.
- The 3-9x magnification range is versatile, though it does not provide the higher-end reach some shooters want for longer-distance target use.
- Included rings add value, but mounting still depends on compatibility with the rifle and setup requirements.
