Barska Contour 4x32mm Rifle Scope Illuminated Mil-Dot Reticle

Specifications

Pros

• Low 4x magnification suits close-range shooting applications like crossbows, pistols, and rimfire
• Long 3.3-inch eye relief adds comfort for a wider range of shooting setups
• Fully multi-coated optics are specified for improved contrast and clarity
• Mil-Dot reticle provides a familiar aiming reference for precise holdover use
• 100% waterproof and fogproof construction supports use in changing weather conditions
• 1/4 MOA windage and elevation adjustments allow fine sighting-in control

Considerations & Trade-offs

• The 4x magnification is well suited to close-range use, but it is less flexible for longer-distance shooting.
• The Mil-Dot reticle and 1/4 MOA adjustments add aiming and zeroing utility, though they may be more than some simple rimfire setups require.
• The 3.3" eye relief is comfortable for the intended applications, but it still calls for proper mounting and head position to maintain a clear sight picture.
• This scope is positioned for crossbow, pistol, and rimfire use, so hunters needing a more versatile all-purpose optic may want a different magnification range.
