Considerations & Trade-offs
- The Muzzleloader BDC reticle is calibrated for slower muzzleloader velocities, so it is purpose-built rather than a general-purpose holdover system.
- At 3-9x magnification, this scope is versatile for timber and moderate-distance shots, but it is not intended for the higher magnification some hunters prefer for longer-range precision work.
- The adjustable objective adds flexibility, but it also means one more setting to manage when you want a quick setup in the field.
- Capped turrets and 1/4 MOA adjustments support deliberate zeroing, but they are less suited to frequent on-the-fly dialing than exposed target-style turrets.
