Considerations & Trade-offs
- The first focal plane EBR-2C reticle is useful for holdovers and wind calls, but it adds more visual detail than a simple hunting reticle.
- Tall exposed tactical-style turrets make adjustments fast and easy to read, though they are more specialized than low-profile capped hunting turrets.
- The 6-24x magnification range is versatile, but the higher end is more than many close- to mid-range hunting setups require.
- A 3" sunshade is included, but the scope itself is still a 30mm, tactical-style optic that may feel more purpose-built for dialing and ranging than for minimalist carry.
