Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 3-15x magnification range is versatile, but it is still a mid-range setup rather than a dedicated close-quarters or extreme long-range optic.
- The first focal plane EBR-7C reticle is useful across magnification settings, but it may be more detailed than some hunters want for very fast, simple aiming.
- The exposed elevation turret and capped windage turret support adjustment use, but they also mean the scope is set up with a more tactical-style control layout than a fully streamlined hunting design.
- At 44mm, the objective size is a practical balance, but it may not gather as much light as larger-objective scopes in very low-light conditions.
