Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 5-25x range is geared toward long-range work, so it is less specialized for close-range hunting setups or fast, low-power use.
- The 34mm tube and 85 MOA maximum elevation/windage provide substantial turret travel, but they also place this scope in a more dedicated long-range category than a lightweight general-purpose optic.
- The first focal plane EBR-7C reticle keeps holds consistent across magnification, but it may be more than some hunters need if they prefer a simpler sight picture.
- The included throw lever supports quicker magnification changes, though the scope’s feature set is clearly built around deliberate long-range shooting rather than minimalism.
