Considerations & Trade-offs
- The advertised 36-mile range is a maximum figure, so real-world use will depend on terrain, obstructions, and operating conditions.
- GMRS operation and maximum power are subject to legal limits, so users may need to follow local licensing and usage requirements.
- The set is focused on communication and alerts rather than advanced navigation or mapping features.
- Included accessories support immediate use, but the package is still a two-radio kit rather than a larger multi-unit group setup.
